Australia won women tri-series, beat India by 11 runs in the final

The Australia team emerged winners by eleven runs in the final match against India in women tri-series. Their heroes were Jess Jonassen, with eye-popping figures of 5 for 12, Beth Mooney’s anchor innings of 71 not-out, and a critical late-innings contribution by Rachael Haynes.
For a few worrying minutes, India seemed to have the triangular series final in their keeping, as Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur pulled their team to within 41 runs of victory with 35 balls closing and all of 7 wickets in hand.
Alyssa Healy has been one of the game’s predominant players in the course of recent years as she took out both the ODI and T20I Player of the Year trophies, they couldn’t haul her out of an ongoing droop that currently includes five back to back innings without arriving at twofold figures.
The Indian team was all out at 144 at the target of 155 runs, after being 115 for three in the 15th match. Jonassen, seasoned left-arm spinner, has become the third Australian bowler in T20 format who took five wickets in four overs for 12 runs.
Rajeshwari Gayakwad gave 19 runs in the final over which let the opposition off the hook and made a challenging score.
